BIOGRAPHY

JAH ZULU

Jah Zulu is a veteran in the business with a huge passion for Dancehall, Reggae, Roots & Dub, Afrobeats and Amapiano.

His biggest influences are Jah Shaka, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and of course... Bob Marley! His main ingredient is pure, explosive energy that can't be compared with any other DJ in this time and age.

Jah Zulu started his professional DJ career in 2000 in Ghent, Belgium. He played over 10 years mainly in Belgium, in clubs such as Charlatan, Culture Club, Club 69, Decadence,… and on festivals like Couleur Café and Polé Polé. During that period he was also a regular DJ to be heard on Studio Brussel.

After 10 years, he moved on to play in the most well-known clubs in countries such as Greece, the Canary Islands, Turkey, Morocco and Mexico. He ended up in Jamaica where he could focus on finalizing his DJ skills and plunge himself deeper than ever in the Jamaican music culture.

He knows for sure how to make a party happen, will make you dance on music you've never heard before  and will make you scream on your favorite tunes!

He has already demonstrated this by elevating several concepts such as Whap Whap and Rub a Dub to great success in his short time back in Belgium. In addition, he is also resident DJ for Ghent's biggest club Charlatan, and hosts his own weekly radioshow "Afrolove" on Urgent.fm.

So be ready for an extremely tight mixing and blending with an African - Jamaican flavor.
